This is a reproduction of the Comet Pepper Kit. As Dan Driscoll has said: "The Comet Pepper is a post-war update of the pre-war Comet AYA (Air Youth of America) No.5. The only difference is that the Pepper has a wider wing trailing edge. Since the Pepper trailing edge is larger than the AYA No.5 trailing edge, it is "adding structure", and the Pepper is OK for FAC OT Fuselage. This was covered by a note I wrote in SAM Speaks several years ago. The Pepper is also OK for SAM competition."
This new plan shows the AYA and the Pepper color markings. The Pepper resembles the Comet Sparky, but features a much simpler fuselage construction. Kit collector, Harman Dickerson, reported that his original kit contains a 10" machine sawed prop blank, making 10" the max diameter for the prop.

This SHORT KIT contains 1- 13"x36" plan sheet and 4 sheets of laser-cut parts.
Recommend 10" Superior prop and 4 loops of 1/8" rubber.
